This course introduces students to the principles and fundamentals of managing projects and information technology initiatives in a business context. The emphasis is on understanding how requirements, processes, information and resources can be managed to achieve business goals. The course will instruct students in how to select and apply appropriate techniques to build a foundation for further study in project management and business information systems. The course is divided into two sequential modules, covering the management of information systems and the management of projects.
The ANU uses Turnitin to enhance student citation and referencing techniques, and to assess assignment submissions as a component of the University's approach to managing Academic Integrity. While the use of Turnitin is not mandatory, the ANU highly recommends Turnitin is used by both teaching staff and students.
