Graduate Diploma of International Affairs
A single one year postgraduate award offered by the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific
The Graduate Diploma of International Affairs is an exit pathway for those already in the Master of International Relations program. It is not open to direct entry or application from potential students. It is a flexible 1-year full time (or part-time equivalent) postgraduate qualification totalling 48 units. Students complete a minimum of 24 units from core courses and a maximum of 24 units of 8000-level courses from within the INTR course codes.
Graduating with the Graduate Diploma of International Affairs will demonstrate your possession of the knowledge and skills required for understanding emerging issues in international relations, both globally and in Asia and the Pacific. Through a wide range of course choices, students will learn how to critically analyse international affairs and foreign and defence policies. The program will engage students in a diverse range of disciplines and explore how issues such as globalisation, development, democratisation, terrorism, human security, war and conflict drive political developments in the Asia Pacific region and around the world.
