The Diploma of Business and Economics requires the completion of 48 units of 1000-level courses.
The 48 units must consist of:

Admission Requirements
For admission to this program, in addition to those qualifications accepted for admission to all other undergraduate programs, the following qualifications will be considered when assessing applicant’s eligibility:
- A completed Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Certificate IV.
- Completion of the General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihi) or the General Secondary Education Certificate (Shahadat Al-Thanawaya Al-aama), where;
- the applicant has achieved an average of 80% or above in academic subjects within the General Secondary Education Certificate; and
- when presented alongside a completed Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) with a result that meets the minimum selection requirement of the program.
As a pathway diploma, credit in recognition of prior learning is not available for this program.

The annual indicative fee for a program is based on the standard full-time enrolment load of 48 units per year (unless the program duration is less than 48 units). Fees for courses vary by discipline meaning that the fees for a program can vary depending on the courses selected. Course fees are reviewed on an annual basis and typically will increase from year to year. The tuition fees payable are dependent on the year of commencement and the courses selected and are subject to increase during the period of study.
