Back to the Master of Accounting page

The Master of Accounting allows students to develop accounting skills and the ability to undertake independent research and critical thinking.

For students with accounting background, limited or no prior accounting training, the program offers conversion courses that allows them to meet the education entry requirements of the Australian accounting professional bodies while assuming little or no existing background or knowledge of accounting on the part of those enrolled.

Students with prior accounting studies may apply for the program, but may be required to take more advanced accounting courses if they continue to study the same area as their undergraduate major.
