Career options following the Master of Philosophy include many opportunities in addition to an academic path.   Some of our alumni, who have prior medical qualifications, combine clinical research with their work as a medical practitioner, or proceed to specialist medical training. Admission Requirements

To be admitted to the Master of Philosophy program you will be required to have completed at least a three-year Australian degree or equivalent with a result of at least 70%.

All applicants must meet the University’s English Language Admission Requirements for Students.

You may be granted admission if you can demonstrate that you have a background equivalent to these qualifications.

Program Requirements

The Master of Philosophy requires the submission and successful examination of a thesis of up to 60,000 words.

Study consists of one to two years of full-time study or part-time equivalent.
