Admission Requirements
A Bachelor degree or international equivalent, with at least three years' work experience in the public sector and related environment.
Up to 24 units of credit is available for a Bachelor degree in a cognate discipline or Graduate Certificate in a cognate discipline. Up to 48 units of credit is available for a Honours degree in a cognate discipline or Graduate Diploma in a cognate discipline. Credit may also be available for relevant work experience.
Students must achieve a minimum 65% weighted average mark before progressing to the final 48 units in order to remain enrolled in the Master of Public Policy. Students who do not achieve a minimum 65% weighted average mark will be transferred to the Graduate Diploma of Public Policy.

The Master of Public Policy in Policy Analysis provides knowledge and professional skills for those who wish to broaden and deepen their general skills in policy analysis applied in policy development. The focus of the policy analysis courses is how to improve the design of public policies to facilitate the achievement of policy objectives and how to take the political and administrative nature of the policy problem and target population into consideration when designing public policy. Policy evaluation, cost/benefit analysis, policy advocacy and evidence-based policy making are some of key issues addressed.
