This course presents a unified basis for the deformation of solids and fluids with application to the solid Earth. A good mathematical background is needed for this self-study course based on on-line material.

Indicative Assessment
Assessment will be based on a series of problem solving assignments (100%; LO 1-3).The ANU uses Turnitin to enhance student citation and referencing techniques, and to assess assignment submissions as a component of the University's approach to managing Academic Integrity.
