Indicative Assessment
An ongoing, regularly scheduled assessment of the candidate's work. Epidemiology exam in Semester 2 of first year. At the end of each of three semesters, the course is deemed to have been completed satisfactorily and a 'continuing unit' recorded. At the end of the fourth semester the result is either 'Course Requirement Satisfied' or 'Fail'.The ANU uses Turnitin to enhance student citation and referencing techniques, and to assess assignment submissions as a component of the University's approach to managing Academic Integrity. While the use of Turnitin is not mandatory, the ANU highly recommends Turnitin is used by both teaching staff and students. Workload
Up to four weeks full time, once per semester. Attendance at intensive residentials is mandatory and only in exceptional circumstances, and with the approval of the Delegated Authority, will absence be permitted.
