This course introduces students to installation as a conceptual framework for making and display, and assessment of sites spatially within interior and exterior environments. Focused tutorials will explore installation as a process of art making as well as an approach to siting larger works. Students are encouraged to work within their knowledge base relevant to medium as well as expand understandings of sculptural considerations. Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) is an integral part of the course.
