This course offers opportunities to network with professional organisations such as local and national government and industry, and to acquire skills, knowledge and professional attributes which will facilitate future employment and career outcomes. Students will meet with practitioners of applied psychology from various fields to understand the depth and breadth of applied psychology. Students will also develop practical skills inherent in applied psychology fields, such as working through 'wicked problems', and will develop workready skills such as applying and interviewing for a job, developing a resume, identifying and establishing internship opportunities.

Indicative Assessment
Assessment will be based on:- Summary of seminars 20% (LO 1-5)
- Written report 30% (LO 1-5)
- Development of WIL personal documents 20% (LO 1-5)
- Evaluation paper of 'wicked problem' solving 10% (LO 1-5)
- Personal reflection of 1,000 words. 20% (LO 1 - 5).
