This course combines hands-on making with critical reflection as a methodology of practice-led research. The course is designed to assist students as they develop their critical awareness of studio-based craft and design practice. Based in a studio and seminar format, the sessions will create a forum for students to articulate issues pertaining to their individual work. Students will engage as they relate to their own developing practice/media with the topics through a series of responses that include making, drawing, presentations, and written reflections.
