This course will examine modern applied research on macroeconomic and financial issues. The main objective is to allow students to understand, critically appraise and replicate applied work on macroeconomic and financial topics.
Indicative Assessment
Assignments (30%), a mid term (20%) and a final examination (50%).
The assignments for EMET8010 require the use of MATLAB. Assignments for EMET3008 require no programming.
The ANU uses Turnitin to enhance student citation and referencing techniques, and to assess assignment submissions as a component of the University's approach to managing Academic Integrity.
