This course is designed to assist students in upgrading their academic writing and literacy skills in a systematic way. While expanding and refining the student's language resource, this course pays particular attention to developing all-round academic skills on the basis of Korean materials on a variety of Korean topics

Attendance (10%), a series of assignments in the form of summary reports or translations in English (60%), and one final 2,500-word essay in Korean (30%). Background knowledge of Korean to be assessed by a placement test
The ANU uses Turnitin to enhance student citation and referencing techniques, and to assess assignment submissions as a component of the University's approach to managing Academic Integrity.
