This course is designed to immerse students in a clinical environment and to introduce them to the practice of Medicine, Surgery, Community Medicine and Child health

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion, students will have the knowledge and skills to:

The Elective course is to broaden the students' horizons of clinical exposure beyond the established curriculum and to gain personal life experience

Indicative Assessment

Assessment is largely portfolio driven with key formative tasks during the placement.

The ANU uses Turnitin to enhance student citation and referencing techniques, and to assess assignment submissions as a component of the University's approach to managing Academic Integrity. While the use of Turnitin is not mandatory, the ANU highly recommends Turnitin is used by both teaching staff and students.
