This course continues the study of Ancient Greek grammar and vocabulary. As students progress through the readings prescribed for the semester they meet a variety of Greek authors. As they read and discuss the texts they will reinforce and extend their working vocabulary. There will be practice of the more advanced grammatical principles. These are essential steps in learning Ancient Greek.

  2. Read a great range of Greek texts with the aid of a dictionary.

Final three-hour examination (45%) [Learning Outcomes 1, 2]

Workload

Three one-hour meetings and seven hours of associated study time per week.

Requisite and Incompatibility

To enrol in this course you must have completed GREK6112. You are not able to enrol in this course if you have previously completed GREK2101. Alternatively you may gain permission of the Course Convener to enrol in this course.
