The course develops further the basic reading skills introduced in RUSS6002 with further study of Russian morphology, and building reading strategies, dictionary skills and confidence in approaching the analysis of more complex sentences. Word-formation processes are examined through the study of common prefixes and suffixes. Students can begin guided work on texts in their own particular field of study.

Indicative Assessment
Two tests (30%), weekly on-line quizzes (20%) and a final examination (50%)The ANU uses Turnitin to enhance student citation and referencing techniques, and to assess assignment submissions as a component of the University's approach to managing Academic Integrity.
