Advanced Methods introduces students to advanced sculptural production, assessment of sites for sculpture and the consideration of architecture in the installation for sculpture spatially within interior and exterior environments. Students will be shown advanced use of equipment for the finishing and refinement of sculpture and focused tutorials on transport and installation of large sculpture. Studio theory will assist in developing critical and evaluative skills. Workplace health and safety (WHS) is an integral part of the course.
