This course will facilitate you with writing your thesis by providing feedback on your own writing and giving you the opportunity to evaluate the work of other students. By looking at the thesis in each of it's components and as a holistic document, we will highlight the importance of developing well thought out and coherent arguments based in current literature. It will also focus on how to accurately and appropriately justify the way you interpret your results. You will also learn the basics of scientific writing styles and discipline appropriate referencing.

Indicative Assessment
2 x 1,500 word peer review assessments of student chapters (LO 1, 2)
2,000 word draft thesis chapter (LO 1, 3)
*Students will be permitted to re-use some or all of this work in their honours 4500 thesis subject to approval*
The ANU uses Turnitin to enhance student citation and referencing techniques, and to assess assignment submissions as a component of the University's approach to managing Academic Integrity.
