The course is designed to introduce students to advanced management topics relevant to executing major projects.  The aim of this course is to provide a grounded understanding of key aspects of successful project management practices in the context of a global economy and increased organisational complexity.

  3. Learn about three key process of project execution.
  4. Develop critical uncertainty management skills.

  7. Show competence in giving formal and informal oral presentations.
  8. Show competence in researching a project management topic.
  9. Have an understanding of high quality project management practice and research.

Workload

Students taking this course are expected to commit at least 10 hours a week to completing the work. This will include attending lecture/seminar, tutorials, private study and project preparation

Practical experience with projects or previous project management studies could be advantageous.
