This course continues to pursue more complex themes in daily life, such as money matters, immigration, education and employment, this course also provides a systematic practice of a wide range of functions in Korean.

 

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion, students will have the knowledge and skills to:

The ability to present and discuss contemporary issues in spoken and written Korean.

Indicative Assessment

The Assessment will be:

one oral presentation (reseach on a topic and presentation 30%)

news report (30%)

one written assisgment (2,000 words 40%)

Prescribed Texts

Selected readings on economic, political, legal, cultural and other topics from newspapers and academic journals. The selection of material to be studied each year will take account of the needs of the students.
