All students in the Bachelor of Music (BMus) degree take four compulsory courses in the basic language of music: theory and analysis, aural, improvisation and composition. Students who wish to make a focus of these areas can take advanced courses in composition, improvisation, and digital recording and sound. Students have the opportunity to undertake research projects to deepen their understanding of specific issues, and performance projects to apply their learnings in practice.
