The Master of Commerce program offers a pathway to PhD study. Students
with little background in commerce can still reach an advanced level of
academic study. The program provides an advanced and in-depth level of
study in one or more business or commerce disciplines, such as
accounting and business information systems.
Single degree
Candidates must complete 96 units, including a research component.
Students must consult with your program convener before they proceed the research component.
About this degree
Students must pass and achieve a minimum 70% weighted average mark in
the first 48 units attempted to remain enrolled in the Master of
Commerce. Students who do not achieve a minimum of 70% will be transferred to the
relevant Graduate Diploma.
Enrolment Status
It is possible to enrol in fewer courses per semester but it will take you longer to finish your program and get your degree. If you are an international student you must always be enrolled full-time in 24 units each semester.
Remember you will need to enrol in courses for both First Semester and Second Semester. You will be able to change your enrolment in courses up until the end of week 2 of each semester without penalty.
