This course continues the study of Ancient Greek grammar and vocabulary. As students progress through the readings prescribed for the semester they meet a variety of Greek authors including Aristophanes and Demosthenes. As they read and discuss the texts they will reinforce and extend their working vocabulary. There will be practice of the more advanced grammatical principles that they encounter. These are essential steps in learning Ancient Greek.

  2. Read a great range of Greek texts with the aid of dictionary.

Requisite and Incompatibility

To enrol in this course you must have completed GREK1102 or GREK2119. Alternatively you may gain permission of the Course Convener to enrol in this course. You are not able to enrol in this course if you have previously completed GREK6101.
