(a) Acquisition of further 180 kanji  (b) composition and reading comprehension of short passages (600 ji) on various topics.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion, students will have the knowledge and skills to:

At the end of the course students should have developed practical ability in reading and writing Japanese: composition and reading comprehension of short passages on various topics and 180 kanji.

Indicative Assessment

Periodic tests (30%), Assignment work (40%), and a final examination (30%), to be confirmed towards the end of semester.

The ANU uses Turnitin to enhance student citation and referencing techniques, and to assess assignment submissions as a component of the University's approach to managing Academic Integrity. While the use of Turnitin is not mandatory, the ANU highly recommends Turnitin is used by both teaching staff and students. To enrol in this course you must have successfully completed JPNS6112 and JPNS6114. You are not able to enrol in this course if you have previously completed JPNS1015.
