In this course students will be introduced to a wide variety of computer applications relevant to their professional art and design practices. The course covers digital image manipulation, vector graphic editing and 3D modelling. Students will develop skills and work on projects during weekly 2hr hands-on sessions in the school’s teaching labs. These sessions are put in context of contemporary developments in art and design through a series of weekly lectures covering a wide spectrum of up-date topics. During these lectures students are also introduced to the comprehensive online learning support the ANU provides.

Workload
3.5 contact hours per week. Students are expected to commit up to 6.5 hours per week of independent study.
