This graduate reading course will take the form of public lectures, online student papers and discussion with a three day intensive in the final weeks of the course. The fortnightly recorded public seminar will be held in conjunction with the National cultural and collecting institutions. Each seminar will be followed by an online discussion in which at least one student will lead a session. The intensive will consist of writing workshops which will cover the variety of writing styles (including online, short and longer conference papers) required by various media as well as 10 minute presentations by each student on a topic that inspired students throughout the semester. Each offering of the course will focus on a set theme, responding to current contemporary issues that arise in the heritage and museum sector.
