This course will enable students to converse, read and write about more complex topics and to discuss ideas and information in Persian . Students will also build on their knowledge of grammar based on what they learned in the previous years. By living in a Persian-speaking country and interacting with the community around them, students will develop confidence and competence using the language in the setting where it is spoken. In addition, students will be able to gain insight into the Persian culture in general and Iranian culture in particular. This unit is an 'immersion' language and cultural programme in which the students study Persian language and culture in a Persian-speaking environment.
