There are two sub-courses associated with PhD Clinical Field Placement II
Clinical Placement II ANU Clinic Placement
In this sub-course students begin undertaking clinical work. Students under the supervision of clinical staff are expected to undertake a range of professional, clinical and administrative duties including clinical assessment, case formulation, treatment planning and individual and/or group therapy with adult clients as well as attend individual and group/peer supervision and professional development meetings. Placement is two days per week for 20 weeks (minimum of 250 hours).
Professional Practice II (Convenor: Mr Salih Ozgul) 1 hr/fortnight
Students are required to attend Professional Practice meetings that are held throughout the year. In addition to case presentations there will be specific sessions considering important ethical issues in the practice of clinical psychology.

Indicative Assessment
Students complete relevant professional supervision and practice journals, receive direct feedback from supervisor on clinical/professional skills, summative and formative feedback from superivor and self reflection on own goal attainment and practicum and supervision experience. Students participate in professional practice/peer supervision meetings.
The ANU uses Turnitin to enhance student citation and referencing techniques, and to assess assignment submissions as a component of the University's approach to managing Academic Integrity. While the use of Turnitin is not mandatory, the ANU highly recommends Turnitin is used by both teaching staff and students. Workload
2 days/week field placement (min 250 hours over 20 weeks) and 1 hr/fortnight professional practice meeting.
