What does ‘global security’ actually mean? STST2099 explores this questions by looking at the changing nature and character of both international politics and international relations theory with regard to the question of security. It examines both mainstream conceptualisations of security, as well as the critiques of this approach. The course then examines how these debates challenge how we think about and act on a range of contemporary global threats to security.
The ANU uses Turnitin to enhance student citation and referencing techniques, and to assess assignment submissions as a component of the University's approach to managing Academic Integrity.
