This short course offers first year undergraduate students the opportunity to participate in Waseda University's Summer School program during the ANU teaching break in June/July. Students undertake two courses from a range of subject areas including international relations, politics, economics and sociology, as well as an introductory, intermediate or advanced Japanese language class. Students will be provided with a preparatory session at ANU before they depart for Japan. This course will be supported by the Australian Government's New Colombo Plan initiative in 2016 - students will receive mobility grants to support their in-country study.
