This is a research-intensive course in which students undertake a self-directed research project under the guidance of a supervisor. It comprises a series of seminars on planning and conducting research, and on academic skills development. The majority of time is spent developing and implementing a research plan under the supervision of an academic member of staff.

Other Information
Admission to this course is at the discretion of the Associate Director Education, Fenner School, subject to the availability of a suitable supervisor. Admission may be restricted to prospective Honours students. Admission of non-Science students requires the approval of an appropriate College Authority. Other than in exceptional cases, admission to this course requires the completion of at least 30 units at 2000/3000 level, with Credit average performance in 2000 and 3000 level courses in the School, and Distinction level performance in courses related to the proposed research project. Workload
Course is currently not being offered. Students are expected to devote at least 10 hours a week to seminars and their research topic.
