This course allows for a special topic of study for individuals or small groups of students to study a Science topic abroad under the guidance of an ANU academic. Part of the course may be delivered at ANU before departure. Delivery of the course will potentially be a combination of lectures, field trips, workshops or practical work. The subject of topics will vary depending on offerings from the College of Biology, Medicine and the Environment or the College of Physical and Mathematical Sciences.

Assessment of the special topics course will depend on the nature and structure of the course. The details of the project and assessment items will be negotiated and agreed upon prior to formal enrolment in the course.
