The major in Corporate Sustainability examines the increasing constraints placed on business by both the natural environment and society, and how corporations may create long-term value through innovative responses to these constraints. It is truly multidisciplinary, drawing together insights from management, marketing, accounting, economics, environmental science, law, politics, and philosophy.
Learning Outcomes
Graduates with a major in corporate sustainability major will be able to:
- Demonstrate a broad and coherent knowledge of corporate sustainability concepts, issues and practices from multidisciplinary perspectives;
- Exercise critical thinking and judgement to identify and solve corporate sustainability problems;
- Apply theoretical and practical knowledge to analyse sustainability issues in business, market, social, ethical and regulatory context;
- Communicate sustainability knowledge and ideas in a clear and coherent way.
