4. Analyse disciplinary debates and knowledge relevant to the project.
5. Realise, document and present an extended investigative practice-led research project.

Other Information

The progressive outcomes of the studio practice based courses are assessed by periodic critique plus mid-review sessions and end-of-semester presentation to an assessment panel. Critique sessions will provide advice on work in progress in response to approved projects, the mid-semester reviews will provide indicative advice on a student's achievement against the criteria, and the end of semester presentation will assess the final outcomes against the agreed requirements of course projects.

 

Indicative Assessment

Project proposal, 1800-2400 words (10%) Learning Outcomes 1-3. Completion of project proposal is a hurdle requirement for completion of the course.
Extended investigative studio-based project (70%) Learning Outcomes 1-5
Project documentation and critical reflection, 2400-3000 words (20%) Learning Outcomes 1-5

The ANU uses Turnitin to enhance student citation and referencing techniques, and to assess assignment submissions as a component of the University's approach to managing Academic Integrity. Workload

A total of 390 hours of project work, lectures, seminars, critiques, readings and research, including a minimum of 12 hours of direct contact with the supervisor. It is the joint responsibility of the student and supervisor to arrange times for face-to-face contact. The supervisor is normally only available for email or face-to-face consultation during teaching weeks of each semester.
