This course is designed to build transferable literacy skills needed for success in a first year tertiary program
or PREP1013: Advance Literacy. The course develops students’ ability to interpret, summarise, and analyse a range of texts. As students build their critical reading and writing skills, they gain familiarity with the university environment and academic conventions. Students engage with university faculty and facilities through a series of guest lectures, student led interviews and library visits. Students are encouraged to reflect and think critically about their goals, experiences, and learning progress throughout the course.
