The course is a specific research project under the supervision of a research scientist at ANU or at an affiliated research institute. Students identify a supervisor after discussion with the course convener.
It may be performed in a research laboratory or involve field or library research under the supervision of a research scientist.

4. Communicate concepts and results clearly and effectively both in writing and orally

Eligibility:Enrolment in this course is dependent upon the availability of a suitable supervisor and must be approved by the course convener.
An average of 70% or above in relevant BIOL courses will be required to enrol in this course.

Workload
This can be taken as a variable unit depending on the conceptual difficulty and research orientation as arranged between the student, convenor and supervisor before enrolling. The research project will normally be completed within the semester of enrolment.Requisite and Incompatibility
