While the use of Turnitin is not mandatory, the ANU highly recommends Turnitin is used by both teaching staff and students. For additional information regarding Turnitin please visit the ANU Online website.

Workload

Students will establish specific internship contact hours through negotiations with the host organisation and this may vary by student, however, it is expected that the student will devote at least 10 hours per week during the semester. In addition to the internship, each student will submit journal entries and work on a final research project based on the internship experience.

Assumed Knowledge

Students need to have completed three courses in the MA program in Culture, Health, and Medicine with at least a Distinction in each course or by permission of the course convenor. Students who do not meet the course requirements must have prior knowledge and experience that ensures sufficient preparation for the internship.
