This course provides students with the opportunity, as part of a graduate reading group or specialized seminar series (but not the School of Philosophy's weekly general seminars), to complete intensive study on an advanced topic. Additionally, students will consult with a member of academic staff with an interest in the area. One or more topics will be available each year.

The ANU uses Turnitin to enhance student citation and referencing techniques, and to assess assignment submissions as a component of the University's approach to managing Academic Integrity. Workload
130 hours consisting of 10 hours per week over 13 weeks. Contact consists of attendance at the reading group or seminar series and meetings with a member of academic staff; the balance of the workload is independent study.
Requisite and Incompatibility
You will need to contact the School of Philosophy to request a permission code to enrol in this course.
Assumed Knowledge
- Completion of a major in Philosophy
- Admission to Honours in Philosophy
- Demonstrated level of knowledge and skills required to participate effectively in the reading group.
