This course is designed around a series of six workshops that cover some of the major milestones and hurdles associated with undertaking a PhD. The aim of these workshops is to develop the necessary skills associated with the successful completion of a PhD in CHL.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion, students will have the knowledge and skills to:

  1. Effectively organise and manage their time
  2. Develop a grounding in the design and conduct of PhD research
  3. Formulate and design thesis approach and schedule

  2. Supervisor / Candidate Agreement plus Thesis Proposal Review outline.

The ANU uses Turnitin to enhance student citation and referencing techniques, and to assess assignment submissions as a component of the University's approach to managing Academic Integrity.
