This course integrates complex systems thinking and behavioural change theories in an evidence-based change management framework. As such, it provides leaders with the skills to enable continuous learning essential for reflexivity and adaptive performance of their organisations.
Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion, students will have the knowledge and skills to:
- Describe basic concepts underlying the domain of organisational learning, behavioural change, and organisational complexity
- Describe the different tools and systems approaches that are used to navigate organisational complexity and develop organisational dynamic capabilities
- Identify the evidence-based barriers and enablers to organisational change at different levels of analysis
- Critique the tools and frameworks used in organisational learning and behavioural change
- Apply tools and systems approaches to develop an organisational change model, program, or framework.

Workload
Where this course is offered in intensive delivery mode as a continuous block over a shorter period of time, the expected total time commitment for this course will be at least 65 hours for course reading, classes, research, writing and assessment work.
