This program is not accepting new admissions for 2026.  The degree structure is under review, and it should be relaunched for admission in 2027.

Please note that some of the courses specified in the Graduate Certificate of Applied Data Analytics program will not be offered in intensive mode in 2024 and depending on enrolments may not be offered in intensive mode in 2025 either. Students will need to complete the approved alternative courses listed below on-campus in standard semester schedules, that may include in-person examinations and tutorials. 

·        COMP7240 Introduction to Database Concepts (intensive) replaced with COMP6240 

·        COMP7230 Introduction to Programming for Data Scientists (intensive) replaced with COMP6730 

 

The proliferation of new technologies is creating data faster than ever before. Organisations are using data and AI to improve operations and services, and using data analytics to improve business outcomes. Data analysts source and analyse data from many different sources, and work with experts across different domains to solve different types of problems. Data analysts go on to work in a wide range of professional settings, from public health to national security, from education to consumer and business services.

 

The Graduate Certificate of Applied Data Analytics comprises the equivalent of 0.5 years of full-time study. The program is taught in person.

 

This program is available to Domestic students only, and so it has no CRICOS code.
