In a world increasingly characterised by data, the transdisciplinary business analytics major will provide students with a range of skills and techniques needed to analyse and interpret business data. Students will gain the expertise required to extract valuable insights and make data-driven decisions. The major will cover a range of topics, including statistics and data visualisation using different programming languages.
Students will learn to collect, clean, and organise data from various sources, including structured and unstructured data. They will also study techniques for data modelling and predictive analytics, enabling them to forecast future trends and outcomes based on historical data.
This business analytics major equips students with a wide range of analytical skills and technical expertise needed to thrive in fields such as business intelligence, marketing analysis, finance, accounting, economics and many other data-driven industries.
This major is only available to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Commerce.
Learning Outcomes
