About this degree

Credits and Exemptions

Students may apply for credits or exemptions for prior coursework using the steps outlined here: https://cbe.anu.edu.au/current-students/guides-policies-and-forms/credit/exemption-guideline.

Credit eligibility for this program is as follows:

  • Up to a maximum of 48 units of credit for prior completed postgraduate* studies
  • Up to a maximum of 24 units from prior completed undergraduate studies

*Postgraduate studies include Masters programs, the Graduate Certificate, and Honours programs that are not compulsory within the completed undergraduate degree.

Exempted units are to be replaced by courses within the concluding component of the Master of Finance, subject to availability, requisite and incompatibility requirements. (https://programsandcourses.anu.edu.au/program/7418xmfin).

Enrolment Status

It is possible to enrol in less than 24 units per semester but it will take you longer to finish your program and get your degree. If you are an international student you must always be enrolled full-time in 24 units each semester.

You are encouraged to enrol in courses for both First Semester and Second Semester.  You will be able to change your enrolment in courses up until Monday of week 2 of each semester without penalty.
