The Master of Management (M Mgt) program has been specifically tailored to meet the needs of current and future managers in the private and public sectors. It is designed to allow candidates to create a learning and development process around specific areas of interest to them.  Students of the Master of Management include:

 
     
  • Managers in the private or public sectors challenged by the complexity of modern organisations
  •  
  • Professionals from diverse backgrounds needing management knowledge and skills to enhance their career prospects
  •  
  • Management consultants seeking leading edge thinking on management practice policy advisers designing, implementing or evaluating policies

Single degree

This degree consists of 48 units (8 courses).

Enrolment Status

This program can be undertaken on a full or part time basis, depending on course scheduling. International students must always be enrolled in 24 units (4 courses).

If you intend to study on a part time basis, you must enrol in first and second semester courses. You are able to change your enrolment until the end of week 2 of each semester.

Academic Advice

If after reading these guidelines you are still unsure of which courses to enrol in you are able to attend an academic advice session at Melville Hall during Orientation week.

If you are seeking status (credit) from previous study at another university you will need to come to an academic advice session at Melville Hall during Orientation week, and we will help you choose the correct courses.

Students will not be approved to enrol in MGMT8003 Organisational Behaviour and MGMT8022 Strategic Management in 2015 unless they are required to complete the Master of Management program by the end of 2015.
