This course presents key aspects of life drawing: observation and analysis of form, anatomical study, and composition.  Students will explore a range of drawing materials and develop observational and technical skills. Conceptual and thematic issues are addressed. The program is structured around projects designed to introduce a range of skills and processes.

The ANU uses Turnitin to enhance student citation and referencing techniques, and to assess assignment submissions as a component of the University's approach to managing Academic Integrity. Workload

4 hours per week lectures, tutorials, critiques and supervised studio practice and 6 hours per week independent studio practice and other research.
