This course is designed to enable students to develop skills in writing about their research-led creative practice. It provides students with skills in exegetical writing necessary for the composition of the exegesis that accompanies their Honours thesis. The course addresses different ways in which students may reflect on their creative practice, and will examine different possible approaches to articulate this in written form.

A detailed outline plan of the exegesis (10%) (Outcomes 1-3)
A written exegesis of the research topic reaslised through the creative work presented within the Music Sub-Thesis MUSI4403 (90%) (5000-6000 words). (Outcomes 1-3)

Workload
Total of 130 hours: Five 6-hour days attendance at intensive classes and a further 30 hours of directed preparatory reading and preparation and 70 hours of independent private study/research.Requisite and Incompatibility
