Program Requirements
The Graduate Certificate of Management requires completion of 24 units, which must consist of:
24 units from completion of the following compulsory courses:
BUSI7033 International Strategic Management
MGMT7030 Foundations of Management
MGMT7170 Tools and Techniques for Business Project Management
MKTG7001 Marketing
Admission Requirements
A Bachelor degree or international equivalent with an average mark of at least 65%
All applicants must meet the University’s English Language Admission Requirements for Students

The Graduate Certificate in Management is a short program of four courses which provide practical knowledge for higher level managerial and professional work and a foundation for further study, for example in the Master of Management or MBA programs.
The program may be undertaken online, full-time in semester 2, or part-time over two semesters.

Learning Outcomes

The Graduate Certificate in Management is a short program which enables
participants to sample a range of courses from the ANU MBA degree.
Students in the Graduate Certificate must meet the same entry
requirements as the MBA to ensure that their interactions with other
students and class experience is enhanced by their past work
experience. The Graduate Certificate in Management may be a generalised
program of study across a number of diverse courses or may be more
concentrated into a specific area of study. The Graduate Certificate in
Management offers the opportunity to transfer to the Master of
Management or MBA with credit.

- This degree requires 24 units (4 courses)
- This degree consists of 12 compulsory units (2 courses) and 12 elective units (2 courses)

Enrolment Status
This program can be undertaken on a full or part time basis, depending on course scheduling. International students must always be enrolled in 24 units (4 courses).
If you intend to study on a part time basis, you must enrol in first and second semester courses. You are able to change your enrolment until the end of week 2 of each semester.
Electives
You may choose any CBE graduate courses as your electives.
Academic Advice
If you are seeking status (credit) from previous study at another
university you will need to come to an academic advice session at
Melville Hall during Orientation week, and we will help you choose the
correct courses.
