- appreciate Italy's geographical diversity and places of cultural, historical and artistic significance
- understand more complex linguistic features of the Italian language and relevant metalinguistic terminology
- develop further understanding of pragmatic aspects of the language
Indicative Assessment
Graduate students may attend joint classes with undergraduates. Assessment will include additional assignment work and a research essay on aspects of Italian language, culture, society and geography.The ANU uses Turnitin to enhance student citation and referencing techniques, and to assess assignment submissions as a component of the University's approach to managing Academic Integrity. While the use of Turnitin is not mandatory, the ANU highly recommends Turnitin is used by both teaching staff and students.
