Indicative AssessmentCritical review of an existing language assessment (2000 words) (LO 1, 2, 3, 5)
Test development project
Stage 1: Test specifications, test/task materials design and rationale (1000 words) (LO 3, 4, 5)
Stage 2: Test trial, analysis and evaluation (2000 words) (LO 1, 2, 4, 5)

WorkloadThis course has 3 contact hours per week (lectures, tutorials and online discussions). It is expected that students will commit an additional 7 hours per teaching week of independent study preparing assignments and doing further reading (total 130 hours).
