This course is designed to accommodate both students and lecturers with a particular interest in special non-core issues governing organisations in a global context.  The particular content of this course will be determined with the lecturer at the time of teaching.

The purpose of this course is twofold:

  • to provide an understanding of the management consulting industry, the nature of management consulting and the process of consulting; and
  • to provide some insight for managers on how the management consulting industry works and how to get the best out of management consultants.

Workload

This intensive course involves 35 class contact hours.  Students should be prepared to put in quite a few additional hours during the course outside the classroom times.
